Transformational Events
Held is a free monthly listening circle for women+, led by Stacy Crawford and Valeyne Grotrian, to engage in presence, release, and real heart-to-heart connection
In this shared presence - through our grief, our anger, our sadness, our joy, our aliveness - we remember we’re not alone.
We listen. We witness.
Heart to heart. Woman to woman.
How we will be together:
Grounding into your body and breath
Heart-led sharing and listening in circle
A closing reflection to integrate and release
You can speak. You can listen. You can just breathe and be. There is no pressure to share.
Note: This space welcomes women and woman-aligned folks…including trans and non-binary people…who feel resonance here.

Self-Care First: Sustaining Your Health and Impact
St. Louis County Health and Human Services Conference on October 8, 2026, from 9:30-10:30 in the Harborside 204 room at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center in Duluth, Minnesota.
Description: Social workers dedicate their lives to supporting others, sometimes at the expense of their own well-being. This interactive workshop is designed to help professionals reconnect with the importance of putting themselves first, not as a luxury, but as a necessity for effective and sustainable practice. Participants will explore practical self-care strategies, learn how to set healthy boundaries, and develop habits that foster resilience and prevent burnout. Through reflection, discussion, and actionable tools, this session empowers social workers to cultivate self-compassion, restore energy, and continue their vital work from a place of strength and balance.
I am co-presenting with Maggie McCleod-Shovein of Wild Rose Company.
Start Shining: Choosing Courage Over Comfort
Expect an interactive session, and to:
1. Recognize what is keeping you stuck and playing small. Increase awareness of the fears, beliefs, and patterns that keep you from living fully.
2. Examine the story you have been living. Identify the narratives that have influenced your choices, relationships, and sense of what is possible.
3. Clarify the story you want to live. Create a personal narrative rooted in authenticity, courage, and alignment rather than fear. 4. Receive resources and identify your next courageous steps. Create a personal action plan and author a new narrative that inspires purposeful, courageous action.
